Can i install Flash Player in my Mini Dell netbook?

I have a mini 9 inch netbook dell, and when I try to install a pop up says ‘Are you sure you want to install flash player? it may cause harm to your computer!’ so of course i chose cancel, but i wanna know if anybody has done it and some feedback on how it works. maybe some one knows whether its safe or not please help thanks!

I also have a Dell Mini 9… with the Ubuntu operating system.

I have Flash player installed. Flash player is a plug in for your internet browser, it will not harm your computer. It is used for a lot of internet animations and video, such as on YouTube.

Just to be safe go to the Adobe Flash website to get it. That way you are extra sure of getting the genuine article.
